Cylon turned to face away from the ocean and sniffed the air tentatively, searching for the sweet scent of prey. Nothing. Except, wait...Another dog? Two dogs. He swung around suddenly to face the scent, it was close by. He didn't know if they were friendly to supporters of Apollo and Aspen or not...
"We are not alone." He half growled to Avalon, as quietly as he could. "Two dogs, over there." He tossed his nose in the their direction.
He felt very wary of this pair. They were female, that much was obvious. But he always tried to avoid groups of dogs, as if they did end up to be supporters of Agro, he would be overpowered by numbers. "Perhaps we should go..." He trailed off.

"We are not alone. Two dogs, over there."
Caillou cursed under her breath, and stayed as still as possible. She hoped that they would not be able to locate her. These dogs appeared to be older than her, and one of them was a male. She couldnt risk getting into a fight. She glanced over at Lune, again, and her heart beat faster. She couldnt let her parents down. It was her job to make sure Lune was safe.
"Perhaps we should go..." She heard the male say again. Good. At least he wasn't interested in finding her.
ooc; I am stalling a little with Caillou because I am working on making Lune's bio.

'Wait a moment...' he thought to himself as he pondered the situation. He needed to see who these dogs were, he knew the Agro's guards rarely found themselves brave enough to venture onto the cliffs, and if they had started to explore this area it could be disastrous for many dogs, not just him.
On the other hand, if they were loyal to Apollo, it would be good to find them and make contact. It would give him the advantage of knowing more dogs on the side of the resistance.
Cylon took a single stepped towards the two dogs and stopped to sniff the air again, making certain no other dogs were around besides Avalon and the others. Feeling reassured he walked closer to their hiding place. "Hello?" he called, not wanting to alarm them, especially if they were with Agro. That would certainly mean his death.

Caillou's heart took a giant leap. "Hello?" The male called out, cautiously making his way towards their cave. Caillou decided to take a chance, and respond. These dogs had not shown signs of hostility so far.
"Who goes there?" She decided it would be safe to appear tougher than she was for now, so she added a growl.

Cylon heard the female's gruff reply and wasn't exactly sure what to think. Maybe, for now, it would be best not to give away any signal that he wasn't a supporter of Agro, or of the Resistance. He took a few more steps, until he was very close to the hiding place."State your allegiance."He spoke calmly, but with a sharp edge of warning to his voice.

"State your allegiance." Caillou paused. What was she supposed to say? She was a full supporter of Aspen, meaning she was Light. But if this dog wasn't, she could be ripped to shreds.
Then Caillou remembered her parents, and how they didn't deny Apollo of their support, just because they were threatened with death. And why should she?
"I definitely do not support Agro." She stated simply. "So, I am Light.

Cylon sighed in relief, very thankful the female was not a supporter of Agro. "I do not support Agro either, so I am no threat to you. You do not need to fear." He barked to her. He had just said that he doesn't support Agro, but that didn't mean he supported the resistance against him either. He was neutral, and preferred to keep it that way. That way, when this 'battle' was over, he could still not be an enemy to whichever side won.

"I do not support Agro either, so I am no threat to you. You do not need to fear." Caillou processed this, and then contemplated on whether she should push aside the boulder. Why not? She thought. Might as well introduce yourself, and these dogs may be helpful in the future. It won't hurt making some friends.
Caillou placed her front paws on the boulder, and pushed. The giant rock did not budge. She tried to push it with her side pressed against it, but again, nothing happened. Panic flared inside her as she thought of what to do. We can't be stuck! She cried within herself. What should I do? She couldn't believe it. Why hadn't she though of this before? It was almost impossible for her to push the boulder in front of the cave last night.
She knew what she had to do. But she couldn't stand the thought of it. She needed to ask this stranger for help.
Caillou hated not being able to do things herself. She hated feeling so helpless. But what else could she do? She certainly couldn't let Lune and herself starve...
"Um...could you please help me move the boulder?" She asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Cylon realized that the boulder had become stuck, and that the female was not able to move it herself. At her request, he immediately put his shoulder to the rock and pushed with the full force of his strength. And slowly, the boulder moved away from the entrance to a cave.

Caillou jumped back as the boulder was slowly pushed aside. She blinked her eyes several times, trying to adjust to the harsh sunlight and the glare bouncing off of the sand down at the beach below. Waves slowly crashed onto the shore, and the smell of the salty water calmed her. She turned towards the stranger who had helped her.
"Thank you." She said, the words foreign on her tongue. She looked over the male dog. He was a little less than a head taller than her, and appeared muscular. She decided to stay on his good side.
"So," She began. "Do you mind if I ask for your name?"

The boulder rolled aside to reveal a dark colored female sitting in the gloom of the cave. Cylon sat back on his haunches, and thought for a moment about the female's question. Should he tell his name? The female didn't support Agro, but there was always the small chance he was being deceived.....
He decided to just take a chance and tell the female his name. What harm could it truly be in the long run? He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
"Your very welcome, miss." He said politely, opening his eyes and meeting her's. "I don't mind, I'm called Cylon. And you are?"

"Your very welcome, miss. I don't mind, I'm called Cylon."
Caillou nodded her head. At least this dog was polite. "That is a nice name." She commented. "And you are?" The male questioned. Caillou thought about this. Should she use a fake name? Was Cylon really the name of this dog? She decided that she couldnt be certain whether or not Cylon was speaking the truth, so he probably wouldnt be able to tell whether she was either. "My name is Caillou. That lazy ball of fur back there is my sister, Lune" She smiled, motioning with her head towards where her sister lay. Caillou wondered if she should warn Cylon of her sister's bad habit- flirting.[/blockquote]

Cylon smiled at the female's comment of him having a nice name. That was almost the exact thing he had said to Avalon when they had met. It made him want to laugh. Almost. He glanced at the back of the cave to where Caillou was indicating, and saw the other female snoring gently on the dirt floor. It was a truly comical sight. Cylon nodded in acknowledgment, although the female was asleep.
"Caillou, nice to meet you." He said still trying to hold back a laugh as he looked at the sleeping Lune. She was totally zonked. Feeling suddenly bold he asked."Are you with the Resistance?"

"Caillou, nice to meet you." Caillou nodded her head and said, "You too."
Caillou noticed that he had found Lune amusing. She wanted to laugh, but kept her giggle contained. Caillou noticed the other stranger. From this distance Caillou could not be sure, but she thought it looked like and Australian Shepherd. "Are you with the Resistance?" Caillou snapped her attention back to Cylon, and thought about his question.
"Do you mean the rebels?" She asked, hoping it wasnt a stupid question. Being as young as she was, current events had not been very interesting to her. That is, before her parents were murdered.
Caillou tensed at the thought of her parents, being brutally massacred in their own house. It made her sick. Oh, how she wanted to avenge their deaths...

Cylon noticed Caillou's attention wander for a moment and quickly looked over his shoulder to see what she was looking at, wondering if it was a guard. Seeing Avalon, his alarm faded to relief. He turned back to face Caillou. Her question puzzled him for a moment.
"I don't know about rebels, but I guess you could call them that. They are the dogs who are still loyal to Apollo, and the rightful heir, Aspen." He said, trying to explain it."They are brave enough, or mad enough, to oppose Agro. And are constantly being killed for their beliefs." He finished quickly.
After Caillou's question about the Resistance, it was clear she had not joined them. If she was not with Agro, or with the Resistance, than that meant she was probably neutral. Like he was. But then again, lots of dogs were. They were not interested in being slaughtered like prey by Agro's guards for being a part of the Resistance, but not to keen on his ruling them either.
