Knight finally sighed and rose to his paws, his gaze sweeping around the cave as he glanced at everyone that was inside. He then finally turned his attention back to Draco. "I shall head out now, the sun will be setting soon and I must get to the palace before then." He stated plainly before dipping his head to Draco and smiling at the others and then heading out of the cave and into the deep jungle once again. He glanced around and looked up at the sky to see it was already a dark orange as the ocean began to swallow the sun for the night. He quickly turned towards the palace and took off in it's direction.

Destiny rolled her eyes at Knight's stubborness. Ryiah was right. This was no time to be fighting. They had enough battles to prepare for with the real enemy. She shook her head. Males always had to be the big hero. And they always had to be right. Destiny rose to her feet. "I shall be heading out, as well. I must finish and return before Knight gets to Aspen. I wouldn't want to be out and about when they discover that she's missing." She trotted quickly throug the narrow tunnel and emerged into the thick evening air. She quickly made her way in the direction of the cliffs, planning what she would say when she ran into anyone.

Draco nodded farewell to both Knight and Destiny. He told himself over and over again that everything would be fine, Knight knew what he was doing, what he had to do. He and Aspen would both be safe. "Be safe," Draco spoke quietly, willing that to be true for both dogs. He didn't know if Ryiah would go help warn or not. He didn't really want her to go; he wanted her to stay here with him. He didn't want her in a lot of danger, especially something that could cost her her life. Draco shook his head to clear his thoughts. He was just concerned for the rebels was all. And the thought of more dogs in danger was about to make him go crazy. He just wanted everyone to be safe.

Ryiah nodded slowly in agreement. "Very well, I will go to the village." She said confidently, already thinking if clever ways to evade the guards after nightfall. She looked up and noticed Draco's worried frown. "Be safe." said the rebel leader to all of them.
She met his gaze solidly and bravely. "They will be fine, don't worry. She said, smiling slightly. "I will be fine as well, you know me." She grinned widely at him. Then she hesitated slightly for a moment, before leaning forward and giving him a comforting lick on his ear, wondering if she had been to bold she turned and walked towards the village.

Draco nodded as Ryiah walked off. She would be safe, and so would the others. They were all brave, smart, and strong. They would be as careful as they could. Draco still felt funny when he thought about Ryiah, and it got worse after she licked him on the ear. He tried to convince himself it was just because he was worried, but he knew it was more than that. I should get going. I don't want to stay around here too long. I need to find a hidding spot, a well-hidden one. A place where the guards would never think to look. Everyone else is gone, and they will be fine.Draco thought to himself. He just hoped he wasn't lying, and everyone would be fine.

Destiny flew through the jungle as quickly as she could. Finally she reached the clump of ferns where the cave entrance was hidden. She pushed through the ferns and crawled into the tiny opening. The walls pressed against her on all sides as she crept through the thick darkness of the tunnel. Finally she emerged into the cave. A long, thin crack, in one of the walls filled the cave with moonlight. Draco was alone, appearing worried. "Draco," Destiny greeted him, "Any word from Ryiah?" she worried for her friend. If the guards were coming to look for Aspen and Knight, and they found Ryiah...Destiny just hoped she would return soon.

Draco shook his head. "No, I haven't. Have you?"Draco asked. When Destiny said Ryiah's name Draco felt worried. If Destiny hadn't heard from her and he hadn't, how could he be sure she was safe. He shook his head to clear his thoughts. She had to be safe, she just had to. Afterall, Ryiah was smart, brave, and wouldn't get herself into a sticky situation. She probably just went ahead and found a hiding spot before she came back to check in. She would be fine. He had to keep telling this to himself, in hopes that he would finally believe it. Ryiah would be fine. Sooner or later, he'd see her. She come in, smiling because her mission was successful.

Ryiah ran, breath coming in gasps, legs trembling. Exhaustion powered over her in waves, but she kept running. Guards were everywhere, crawling through the village and jungle like termites. She had to get back and warn the others that they were so close to the Rebel Home.
Finally she saw what she was looking for, Draco and Destiny sitting outside the cave. She ran up to them and skidded to a stop. "We must...Run..Guards....Very close...." She gasped out.

((Ooc: We're inside the cave. )
Destiny glanced up as Ryiah entered the cave. Reflief flooded over her as she saw that she was safe. "We must...Run..Guards....Very close...." Ryiah panted. She was obviously exhausted. Destiny nodded, "I know. I heard the head guard, Roxas," she glanced at Draco, figuring he might be interested in that information, "Give the order. Knight has succeeded. Partially anyway." She turned to Ryiah, "You need to rest. Don't worry, this cave is safe. The entrance has hidden and the plants are strong enough to cover our scent. All we can do now is wait for Knight to return with Aspen. Which may be difficult for them if the guards are as close as you say." Destiny glanced towards the cave entrance, praying Knight would complete his mission soon.

Draco nodded. "Destiny's right. We will stay in the cave; it's the safest place, no doubt." He turned to Ryiah. "Ryiah," he began,"I'm glad you made it back safe, just like you said."Draco smiled. Everything was better with Ryiah in the cave. Everything would turn out alright, just because Ryiah was there. Knight would come back with Aspen, and they would move foward on their plan to get the Princess back to her rule. Ryiah made everything seem good. Draco smiled to himself. Why do I always get so emotional about Ryiah? I always seem to care for her more than anyone else. Could it be? No, no. That can't be it.He thought to himself.

Ryiah only nodded at what Destiny said, as she panted hard, trying desperately to get her breath back. It was odd how Draco talked to her, always so kind and considerate. Always worried for her safety, then so relieved when she came back all right. Was it what she thought? No, it couldn't be. But did she not feel that way about him? Perhaps she was just better at hiding it. She pushed all thought of that to the back of her head as she began to feel more recovered from her dash.
"Thank you for your concern, both of you. I'm glad to have friends such as you in this terrible time." She said with a smile, when she could talk. Then she sighed. 'I hope what they say is true,'She thought 'Otherwise, we are in for a lot of trouble,'
The guards frightened her, no doubt about that. But they frightened everyone, right? She was determined to stand strong, and fight to her last breath next to her friends should it come to that. She would never turn her back on them, ever. And she was determined to show it.

Destiny jumped to her feet quickly as she heard growls and snarls above them. She closed her eyes, willing herself to relax. The guards were closer than Destiny had realized...Ryiah was right. But they were still not by the entrance. And even if they were, they would never be able to locate the entrance. Destiny repeated these thoughts in her mind, convincing herself of the safety of this cave. She slowly lay back down, her breaths coming more regularly, and her heart beat slowing to normal. Everything was fine. The guards would never find them here. They would be safe. So why couldn't she take her eyes off the tunnel?

Ryiah perked up nervously at the snarls, she got slowly to her feet to listen better. The guards had apparently lost her trail, but were still looking. They couldn't find the entrance though..Could they? She crouched all the same, hackles raised, ready in a fighting stance. If they came through they were in for a surprise. She kept the growl coming up her throat from making noise, the slightest sound could give them away.
She glanced at her companions, they too knew to be quiet. It would be dangerous to even breath loudly. The guards' heads may be filled with feathers, in her opinion, but they could still hear well enough for their own good. That much she knew. She didn't give them any credit that they could do anything. They killed her family, so to her, and many other dogs, they were worse that a muddy pit that you had to swim through. She bared her teeth, partly in anger, partly in fear.
