Destiny gazed up at the pale gray sky, grumbling to herself. "Curse this wretched weather!" she whispered, peering through the dense jungle. Where is he? She paced back and forth impatiently. Due to the ever-present clouds, she had no veiw of the sun for which to see how much time had passed that she had been waiting here. It seemed like ages ago, rather than only 5 days, since she had spoken with Aspen on the outskirts of the village. The heiress had dirrected Destiny straight to this spot in the jungle. She had passed the information on to the rest of the small force of rebels and so they found their secret place. Presently, Destiny was the only one here. The others were either searching for food or scouting out the happenings of the village, among other things. All was silent in the heart of the jungle. It made her uneasy. What could be keeping him?
((OOC: I don't have a plan to whom 'he' actually is. I figured any male working with the rebels could just jump in.))

Knight sprinted through the thick jungle undergrowth, each paw step carrying him closer and closer to his destination. He could smell Destiny's trail in front of him and knew he was almost there.
He knew that he was definitely later than he had told her and than he had planned but complications had arose with the palace guards storming through the village yet again.
Knight lept through the branches, with almost no noise at all. Finally he slowed his pace and walked the last couple of steps towards Destiny, his breath coming in quick breaths as he began to lower his heart rate again.
"Sorry I am late, the palace guards are ransacking the village again." He explained, his tongue lolling out of his mouth as he finished catching his breath.

Before long, Knight emerged from the trees. "Sorry I am late, the palace guards are ransacking the village again," he apoligized. Destiny nodded, "We best take this conversation to a safer place," she whispered. Although they were out in the middle of the jungle, you could never be to careful. That was why Aspen told her of this place.
Destiny squeezed through the thick bushes that blocked the entrance to a small opening of a cave. Destiny slithered into the opening and crawled through the thin tunnel. Soon in opened up into a spacious area. This was where the rebellion dwelled. She turned to make sure Knight had followed her. The cave was empty right now, spare the two of them. The others were all out, gathering food, supporters, or information, whatever task Draco had given them.

Knight nodded his head in agreement as he followed her through the tunnel that led into the cave that the rebels were now living out of. It was well protected from the elements and was secretive so none of the palace guards would be able to find it.
When they were safely inside, Knight shook his coat out to get rid of the debri he had picked up on the way through the jungle. He then sat down in front of Destiny and waited for her to speak.
His ocean blue eyes gazing at her thoughtfully, while his mind traveled back over everything he still had to do, and the things that he had already done. There never seemed to be enough time in the day for everything.
He pulled his mind out of his thoughts and turned his full attention on Destiny, his expression serious as he waited to hear her news.

Destiny sat down across from Knight, her expression serious. "It seems that Agro is concerned that we are planning a rescue. He has moved Aspen's execution forward. She is to die in two sunsets. I know you need more time to get her strength up, but time is a luxury we do not have right now. If we're going to save the princess, it has to be soon." Two sunsets. That meant that Aspen would die the evening after tomorrow. Destiny felt a sense of dread creeping up inside her. If they were unable to rescue Aspen, then they were doomed. There would be no one to claim the crown and this war would last forever. Now their future was in Knight's paws. "If you fail..." Destiny trailed off, for they all knew the consequences.

Knight pricked his tall black ears towards Destiny, he knew what she said was true. He had also heard muttered rumors around the palace lately but he had hoped they would stay only rumors.
His eyes were downcast as he remembered how the princess had been the last time he had caught a quick glance at her. She hadn't been moving much and could barely walk from one side of her cell to the other, let alone run away from guards and travel across the palace, through the village and into the deep jungle.
Knight sighed but finally raised his eyes back to look at Destiny. He would not fail the princess. Not now.
"Yes, I understand. Tomorrow night I shall do it then. I think it would be best if I took her a long way to the deep jungle because that is the first place Agro will send his guards to look for her. I will take her along the shoreline and we will come into the deep jungle from the back. Hopefully by the time we arrive there, Agro will have moved his search to a different part of the island." Knight replied, thinking out loud as he went through the entire process in his mind.

Destiny nodded. His plan was sensible, but he had reminded her of the pain they were about to bring upon the village and others hiding out. Once Agro learned that Aspen was missing, he would likely send out guards to search every bit of this island. They would check everywhere, perhaps even twice. If anyone was in hiding, they were much more likely to be flushed out and forced to either swear their loyalty to Agro or die, as was the guards tendency when raiding. She shuddered as she thought of this coming tragedy. It was necessary though. If Aspen died, even more would surely die under Agro's reign. This pain was necessary if they were to ever bring peace. "I will speak to Draco when he returns," Destiny began, "and tell him of your plan. Perhaps he will be able to post lookouts to watch for guards and tell you when it's safe. I'm sure Ryiah would be more than willing to help. Zane will likely be forced to attend the raids. Agro will want everyone searching." She paused to think before continuing, "Perhaps Harley wll be able to sneak away briefly to asist us. But we don't want to risk her cover. We will need her in the palace. Once Aspen escapes, you could very well be discovered missing and fall under suspicion. You might not be able to return there."

Knight listened intently and nodded his head in agreement.
"Yeah, I agree with you there but I think that it would be better to have as few members of the rebellion involved in this as possible because if we do get caught then we don't want all of our double agents and spies to be compromised. And I am only a servant, I doubt Agro will suspect me of helping Aspen. And even if I don't return to the palace, we still have others that can give us information." Knight replied, thinking out loud.
Knight raised his eyes from where they had been focused on his white speckled paws. Fear and anticipation were clear on his face and his mind was busy going through the plan. He thought through the places they would stop for the night and when they would have time to find food and everything else they would need to survive.

Ryiah heard Knight's and Destiny's voices coming from within the cave where the Rebels lived. She turned to look into the gloom and saw them. Not giving herself a chance to debate over whether or not to interrupt them she called out a greeting. "Hi guys!"[\color] She said, walking a couple steps into the cave. "What's going on?"

Destiny nodded slowly as she thought through the plan. "If no one is looking out for you, then you must be excruciatingly careful. If Aspen is caught, then it is over. There is no hope." She saw the worry on Knight's face and knew that he was not entirely positive that Aspen could make this journey. Her highness must've been in pretty bad shape. "Hi, guys! What's going on?" Destiny turned to see Ryiah entering from the tunnel. She nodded a greeting to the golden retriever, "Knight and I were just discussing how to transfer Aspen safely from the palace to our hideout," she informed her, "And who should assist him in making the journey safely." Destiny turned to glance at Knight. She knew that he preferred to work alone, but sometimes it was wiser to include others. She knew he was able to handle this mission, but if Aspen were ill then she might need assistance.

Draco emerged out of the brush. "Greetings, Knight. Destiny, Ryiah,"he nodded his head to each dog in acknowledgement. "I come with some disturbing news. Aspen's execution has been moved up, she dies in two sunsets. We must act fast if we hope to save her. Knight, do you have a plan yet?"Draco spoke slowly. They had to save Aspen. If Aspen was executed, that would give Agro that much more power. If they ever wanted to defeat Agro, they needed to save Aspen. They needed to already have a plan, and Draco was planning on being involved somehow. Time was not on their side.

Knight dipped his head to Draco in greeting as well before nodding his head in agreement. "Yes, we have been informed of the execution date being moved forward. I do have a plan together as well. Tonight is when we must act. Zane will be there with the keys to get her out of the prison cell and then I will take her around the island and we will come into the deep jungle from the back. Agro will most definitely send his guards there to start the search for Aspen. I also suggest emptying the deep jungle of all rebels. or at least hiding extremely well. His guards are growing more and more ruthless by the day and we can't afford to lose any of our supporters." He finished, glancing from one dog to the next and then letting his light blue gaze stop on Draco once more.

Draco nodded. I see. And yes, I think it would be a good idea to make sure every rebel is either out of the village, or extremly well hidden.Draco turned to Destiny. "Desting, could you make sure everyone is hidden or out of the area? We don't want to lose anyone to Agro's guards."Draco then turned back to Knight. Also, if you don't mind, I'd like to keep watch or something, to make sure you will be safe. We don't want to get so close, only to fail."Draco took a deep breath. Once Aspen was free, the would have one problem solved, but they would have many more to worry about.

Knight was afraid that Draco would say something about coming along with Knight to help rescue Aspen. But Knight had a growing fear that the more dogs that came on the rescue mission, the harder it would be to get out of the palace unnoticed. "All do respect Draco, but I think it would be a better idea to have as few dogs involved in getting Aspen out of the palace as possible. I have a growing fear that the more that come, the harder it is going to be to get out unnoticed and remain unnoticed as we travel around the shoreline. I have already scouted out the way we will go and I have found places we can shelter as well. We will be fine as long as the guards search for Aspen in the Deep Jungle, which they will." He finished, hoping that Draco would accept his explanation and let him do it the way he had planned. Knight knew that this was a very big part of the plan to get Aspen away from Agro. If they could manage this, then Agro would lose some of his power and would have more to worry about than just the rebels.
