Harley walked down a long hall, her body shaking. She was nervous about seeing Agro, just like everytime. She didn't trust him, but she felt this was the only way she could help. A small dog like her couldn't offer much to the island, in terms of strength. Harley hung her head, discouraged. Then, her mother's voice spoke in her head: It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.Harley smiled, because when she was a young pup, her mother told her this everynight before she went to sleep. Harley took a deep breath, it wasn't long before she would be in the presence of Agro, the mighty dictator who could swallow her in one bite...

Agro sat atop a large marble throne that had belonged to all of the great kings of past generations. Never had any of them killed their own brother to take the throne and the rule over this quaint island. An devilish grin slid across Agro's muzzle as he thought of this. He was the first one to cause real turmoil in the reign of the royal families. Sure it had been a tragedy for all of the inhabitants of the island when his dear brother Apollo had been killed but they would all get over it. And if they wouldn't then the royal guard would take care of them. Agro sat up taller in the throne, his dark fur blending into the shadows that played around the edges of the palace. His eyes narrowed as his pointed ears caught the sound of tiny pawsteps coming towards him. Who dared to interrupt him now!?

Harley stopped right before entering Agro's presence. She took a deep breath. She hoped she wasn't disturbing Agro too much, otherwise, he might have a temper. She took the final step and looked up at Agro's face. She swallowed. "A-a-agro," Harley started, her voice shaking. She took a deep breath before continuing. She couldn't look scared to death, Agro would be able to tell that something was up. "I'm here to give you the report," she continued, "Your gaurds are doing their job, roaming the streets. It looks like your rule as officially begun." Sadly. King Apollo was twice the king you could even hope to ever be.Harley thought. Harley smiled. She had to keep up her image. She couldn't let Agro know what was really going on. She played the part well, too, or on the outside at least.

Agro gazed down at Harley with narrowed icy blue eyes. He watched her, noticing her nervousness but finally shrugged it off. She was probably finally realizing that his power was deadly and anyone that didn't follow him would be killed. "That's wonderful. Anything else." He replied plainly, his gaze turning away from her and looking off at one of his guards that stood perfectly still nearby. He couldn't help but admire some of their discipline or fear, which ever one it was. But at least they knew what was best for them. If they wanted to live and not have to fear for their lives and their families lives then obeying Agro was the only way to go.

Harley shook her head. "No, that is all. I just thought I'd let you know. Is there anything else you need me to do, or am I free to go?" Harley asked. She hoped he let her go. But she also needed more information to tell the rebels. She couldn't let them down. They were counting on her to deliver the information back to them. Without her, they would have to risk their own lives, which Harley did not want. She knew if Agro ever found out, she would die immediatly. Harley shuffled her feet, waiting for Agro's reply. She knew she'd never be completely comfortable in front of him.

Agro turned his attention back to Harley, he tilted his head as his icy blue gaze burned into her. There was something about her that he felt he should be worried about but he couldn't place it. Finally he gave up trying to figure it out and brushed it off. What could a little mutt like her do to him? "That's all for now." He answered, waving his paw to send her off. Sometimes he wasn't quite sure why he had such a small dog working for him in the palace. Especially now with the rebels out and about, trying to get information on what Agro was planning. If the rebels got a hold of such a small dog as Harley, she would be as good as gone and all of their information would be compromised. He would keep that in mind and take action if it became a problem.

Harley nodded. She turned around to leave. She felt uneasy with Agro staring her down. She ignored the feeling and started exiting Agro's presence. She wished he had told her something more, just so she'd have information to deliver to the forming rebels. They would need all the help they could get, if they ever hoped to defeat the new, strong king, Agro. Once again, Harley found herself walking down a familar long hallway, except this time, she wasn't nervous. There was no way Agro could figure her out. She showed no interest in helping the rebels, this she was sure of.
