ooc: Alright, I am going to do this all in one post cause I don't want to gm and play Zane. And I mentioned Harley in this because I figured she could somehow get word to the rebels that Zane had been killed since she is helping the rebels as well.
Roscoe strolled silently through the palace. He had recently heard that Zane had been spotted back in the palace again. And Roscoe was not at all happy with the mutt. He was 99.9% sure that he had had something to do with Aspen escaping.
He slowly made his way down the hallway and stopped as he reached the corner. Just around the corner was the guard's headquarters. And of course there should be no guards there at the moment and yet, Roscoe strong black nose was picking up the scent of a guard. Zane to be exact.
A devilish grin slid across his face as he thought of how perfect this was. No one was around.
He rose to his full height before walking around the corner, his smile still in place as his red brown eyes stared directly at Zane who was sniffing around the guard's headquarters.
"Well well well look who's here, Zane. We thought we had lost you. But it turns out you weren't lost at all." Roscoe growled as he slowly began to come towards the shepherd, forcing him to back up into one of the corners.
He tilted his head to one side as he watched the dog, his eyes filling with terror and Roscoe couldn't help but smile even more. He had to be a traitor or else he wouldn't be so scared of Roscoe right now.
He crept closer until he was right up in Zane's face.
"I have been hearing bad things about you Zane. And I can't help but think that they are true." He began, his eyes glancing away as he put on a fake sad face and then turned to look back at him again.
"And since the Dark King doesn't give any second chances. . . it looks like you're out of luck." Roscoe finished, his eyes changing from sweet and sad to furious and deadly in an instant.
With Zane trapped in a corner, Roscoe lunged at him, biting and ripping at anything he could latch his jaws on.
Zane let out a yowl of pain and terror as Roscoe continued to tear at him before Roscoe finally put an end to his suffering and latched onto the back of his neck before snapping it with one quick bite.
Roscoe stood there for a moment before letting the body of the traitorous guard fall to the stone floor. He sniffed casually before taking a step back and admiring his work, another one of his usual sly grins making it's way across his face once more as he looked down at the hardly recognizable body of Zane.
He tilted his head to one side, before turning around and heading out of the guard's quarters, a spring in his step now that he felt better and had taken his anger and frustration out on something.
As he was leaving the guard's quarters, he caught sight of Harley, the little mutt he had threatened earlier that day. He stepped in her path and stared down at her, his sly grin still on his face.
"Take care of that will ya." He commanded before jerking his head back the way he had come.
He didn't wait to see her reaction though he would have liked to. He continued on his way, heading back through the palace once more.
